At the upcoming Baronial Twelfth Night there will not only be fighting and
eating; but there will be opportunities to share your talents, skills, and
knowledge as well. There will be classes available all day and there will
be an A&S Display that is structured to allow as many people as possible
to participate.

Please consider sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm by teaching a class
at Twelfthnight. If you have never taught before, are interested in
teaching, and would like some assistance with how to structure a class;
please contact me and I can assist you in that endeavor. The only real
restrictions are that we have no messy space and we have no kitchen space,
so those kinds of classes would be impossible. Otherwise, there are no
restrictions on who can teach and what can be taught. Classes in the
Martial Arts are very much encouraged and welcome, so don't count yourself
out!

To sign up to teach, please email me know the following information:

1. Your SCA Name.
2. The name of the class that you would like to teach.
3. A short (2-3 sentence) description of your class.
4. How much time you need.
5. What is your class size restriction, if any?
6. Do you charge a fee and what is it?
7. Any restrictions or information that would be important for me to know
as the class coordinator (such as: parents needing to split time in order
to cover childcare or a teacher having other time-dependant commitments).

I will be producing a class schedule approximately two weeks before the
event so you all know what will be available.

There will also be an A&S Display at BMDL Twelfthnight and there will be
two opportunities for people to participate:

1. All gentles are invited to display their most recent work and their
first or, if that's not available, the earliest work that they have. This
is similar to the display that has been done at Ice Dragon. This type of
display has served as inspiration for a great many people as it's so easy
to forget that the intensely skilled artisans and scientists whose work
you see now started somewhere.

2. There will also be display space for people to show off what they are
currently working on. This can be anything from a newly completed item to
the next project in your queue.
If you have any questions about teaching a class (or classes) or about the
A&S Display, please feel free to contact Odriana vander Brugghe either via
email at jenn.strobel at gmail.com or via phone at 412.213.8116 (calls
between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. only, please – this is a Google Voice
number and you will be asked to state your name before you’re connected).
