Report of the Court of Their Sylvan Majesties Isenwulf and Rosalinda, King
and Queen of Aethelmearc, held at the Bears Event in the Shire of
Stormsport on the twenty-fifth day of February anno societatis xxxxvi,
Maistir Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle.



Morning Court.



Their Majesties called for Christof Buttermann and Otto Buttermann to
attend Them.  They praised both youths for being of great help to their
Parents, They thanked them both for the service they had given to the event
and to the Shire of Stormsport and the support that they quickly and
willingly gave to all those around them carrying armor, serving in
kitchens, carrying heavy loads, serving as list runners, helping to watch
the younger youths, and serving as retainers.  For all of these things,
Their Majesties inducted both boys into the Order of the Silver

Their Majesties summoned Lady Christina Buttermann to attend and thanked
her for her service as the head cook for the event that day, commonly
serving at the troll tables, taking reservations for events, and serving as
a retainer for many reigns, and winning renown for her pistachio bread, and
so Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Keystone.  Scroll by

Lord Lorenz Buttermann was called forward and Inducted into the Order of
the Keystone for his efforts in serving as a member of the guard for many
reigns, filling in as retainer, hosting practices at his home, and serving

Their Majesties invited Count Andrew MacFarlan of Wigan to attend Them.  They
reminded him that at this very event 10 years ago, Andrew sat the throne
and did elevate His Majesty Isenwulf to the Chivalry, and in so doing did
strike such a blow that Isenwulf’s tooth did chip.  And so to commemorate
this memory Their Majesties presented Count Andrew with a tooth mounted in
a necklace.



Their Majesties then called for THLord Gabriel Hawkes to attend Them.  Gabriel
came forth and presented His Majesty Isenwulf with a wall plaque
commissioned by Her Majesty Rosalinda that he had painted and designed as
an achievement of arms to commemorate His Majesty’s 10th anniversary as a
Knight.  Their Majesties thanked Gabriel for his gift, and spoke to him
that They had intentions for him to sit vigil that day to contemplate
elevation to the Order of the Chivalry, and called for the members of the
Order of the Chivalry to attend.  Duc Henri d’Artois then took back the Red
belt and silver chain from Gabriel and released him from his personal oaths
to himself and those oaths to his household.  Their Majesties then
instructed the Chivalry to take Gabriel to his place of Vigil and counsel
him.



Evening Court.



Their Majesties invited Lord Lorenz Buttermann to attend as the Autocrat of
the day.  Lorenz spoke that he had many hands help with the activities of
the day, and called his Marshals to announce the results of the tournaments.
Duchess Dorinda Courtenay reported that the Fencing Bear Pit Tourney had
produced a good turn out and that Baron Caleb Reynolds had emerged with the
3rd most points, Lady Salari of Lesvos had won the second place and Lord
William Paris had won top honors and presented all three of them with
prizes.  Duke Duncan van Halstern announced that Sir Aengus MacBain had
proven the winner of the Heavy Double Elimination Tournament and that Count
Andrew MacFarlan of Wigan had won the Heavy Bear Pit Tournament with a
commanding lead and presented prizes to each for their performance in the
list.  The youth marshals wished to thank all of the youth who came to the
practice that day and announced that Christof Buttermann and Otto
Buttermann had completed their authorizations that day to become the
kingdom’s newest youth fighters.  Lorenz thanked Lord Lodthinn Vikarsson
and Duchess Ilish O’Donovan for their help with decorating the hall, and
Lady Christina Buttermann for cooking the sideboard of the day.  Lord
Lorenz further stated that the Bears event 10 years ago was his first
event, and one of his First memories in the Society for Creative
Anachronism for was watching His Majesty Isenwulf being recognized as a
knight, and he presented Isenwulf with a box as a token of his esteem for
His Majesty’s inspiration.



Their Majesties then received Lord Lodthinn Vikarsson, and Lord Lodthinn
presented a variety of handmade chocolates to Their Majesties.  Their
Majesties thanked Lodthinn for his generosity.  Lady Christina Buttermann
also thanked Lord Lodthinn for making the banners around the site and
presented him with an amber necklace for all he had done to help with the
event.



Comtess Elena d’Artois was invited to attend Their Majesties.  Elena spoke
that Duc Henri d’Artois had issued the Challenge to field 300 heavy
fighters at Pennsic this year, and to progress towards that goal, she
presented an Aethelmearc Tabard to Giverness Ose as the newest Authorized
fighter present to encourage him to attend Pennsic and fight with the
Aethelmearc Army.  Elena then spoke that they would continue this practice
at future events leading up to Pennsic to work towards increasing the
numbers that Aethelmearc fields.



Their Majesties called Caitlin Rose to attend Them and Awarded her Arms for
her service in the kitchens at events, assisting with set up, clean up, and

Pippin of Northern Cross was called forward and thanked for his efforts in
serving his camp and household, assisting eagerly, serving as a retainer
and guard, digging fire pits and doing ice runs at Pennsic, and watching
over other youth at events.  For this Their Majesties Awarded him Arms.  Scroll

Lord Almeric Wolfgang von Ristau was summoned to attend Their Majesties.  They
had crossed swords with him on the fighting field, but had also seen him
busy and industrious off the field.  They had seen his kind and helpful
service in the kitchens, helping others carry heavy loads, clean and set up
halls for events, all done in an organized and thoughtful manner.  For this
he was inducted into the Order of the Keystone.  Scroll by Lady Alyce Green

Their Majesties called for Baron Rodrigo de Vega and Baroness Rynea von
Ingen to attend.  They thanked both for the services that they had provided
both in Stormsport and to the Kingdom.  Both had served as leaders of the
retinue to many reigns, traveling, attending Their Majesties and recruiting
staff for events, and so Their Majesties inducted both into the Order of

Sir Stevan Ulfkellson was called forward and thanked for his generous
ongoing service to the Shire of Riversedge.  He serves as Knight Marshal,
autocrat of events, host of practices, Arts and Sciences classes and
workshops.  He is a generous teacher willing to take his time to teach
anyone of his skills especially in woodworking.  Their Majesties were
pleased by this and so They inducted him into the Order of the
Keystone.  Scroll

Viscountess Judith of Kirtland was called forward.  Their Majesties spoke
to her of Service, that she had served the realm as cook, Princess, the
model for many peers of the kingdom, and her work in making maintaining and
repairing of regalia.  They then spoke to her of inspiration, and that in
all that she does she inspires others to do the same and better themselves
by following her example, and that she inspired Their Majesties.  In
recognition of her decades of devotion to Aethelmearc they instructed her
to consult with the heralds, bearing this letter conferring the right to
register an augmentation of arms from the Kingdom of Aethelmearc, and that
she ought to register her arms to include this augmentation and display it
that all might know how highly Aethelmearc values her.  Scroll by THLady

Their Majesties then called for THLord Gabriel Hawkes to attend Them.  They
spoke to him that this chapter of his Vigil was now closed as he had been
counseled by the Peers and People of Aethelmearc.  They instructed him to
travel on the crusade to Gulf Wars and that there They would set him on
Vigil once more so that the known world could attend his vigil, and he
would answer on the field as to whether he would accept elevation to the
Order of the Chivalry.



Their Majesties spoke to the populace that had enjoyed the day, and hoped
all in attendance had done the same.  They further wished all present safe
travels and hoped that the weather would cooperate.  They thanked the staff
of the event, Autocrat, Cooks, Trolls, Marshals, Mistress of the Lists, and
Scribes for their efforts and all others who had helped with the event.
