Those who know my husband Lord Gregory Hillson know he is very fond of puns. 
When I was first introducing him to the SCA as we were dating he asked me if 
I could blazon a design and if I thought it would pass...

I have always thought that there should be a big flashy award, like becoming
a Marquis, for donating money to the SCA, with an annual mainenance fee.
Some big huge flashy wearable thing that everyone would know was received by
virtue of cash.

So many folks give of their time and talent, which we can never put a price
on. But some folks are also lucky enough to have the cold hard cash to
share.

I'd consider submitting the bad arms of a brown field with a couple of
ertical black stripes, with a tilted black crescent in the upper enter. Then
I could really have the Privy Door arms...
I am sure someone would want a pair of large argent rondelles with ittle
gules rondelles centered on each one. Maybe even with little gold tars on
the red circles - for pasties.
There's a lot one can do with bad arms...
As an aside, Sterlynge Vayle will be having a silent auction to benefit he
kingdom at Sterlynge Schola on February 18.
