[SCA-AE] Scribal Newsletter Announcement: Call for material: "Pigments of Your Imagination"

Greetings AEthelmearc!

 

Hard to believe it's been a year since the last issue. I tried to get one
out the for the winter, had computer problems and lost files. In the spring,
I called again for submissions so I could publish before Pennsic, but didn't
get any materials. OK - that being said: I would hope that the Scribal
community would like another issue to go out. I know I would, and I know
Mistress Ekaterina is very keen on that too! (love ya Ekat!) It was a blast
to produce, and I sincerely that everyone enjoyed reading it. 

 

SO: Here's the official call for Submissions! 

If you have anything that you would like to submit for the next issue of
_PIGMENTS of YOUR IMAGINATION_, please send them to Maestra Teresa at
"tracey at whitescarf dot com" by November 15th. I can take just about all
formats of digital files. I also have a scanner, so if you would like to
send me original art or a really good photo copy of a scroll that you did
(if you want it returned please let me know) I can scan it. "How To"
articles are great! Also, your take on original scribal material, your
research, observations, or what you love about being a scribe! Treatises on
how you created a particular piece that went out to a recipient are also of
great interest. How about an article on what it's like to get a beautiful
scroll? _Anything at all_ having to do with the Scribal Arts is a great
submission to "Pigments"!

also know that I ACKNOWLEDGE receipt of every email submission, so if you do
not receive an email back from me saying that "I got it" then I did not get
