The Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties Duncan and Ilish,
King and Queen of Aethelmearc, held at the Festival of the Passing of
the Ice Dragon held on the 26th day of March Anno Societatis 45 in the
Barony of the Rhydderich Hael with His Excellency Caleb, Baron of the
Rhydderich Hael, in attendance, THLord Brandubh O’Donnghaile, Silver
Buccle, with the assitstance of Baron Fridrikr Tomasson, Sir Stevan
Ulfkellson, THLord Cadell Blaidd du, and Lady Elizabeth Law Robertson.
Morning Court.
Murdia Drusilla Vettia Portia was Awarded Arms for her support of the
fighters of Leggio 36, service as a retainer and Middle Eastern

Valora of Thescorre was Awarded Arms in Absentia for her service to
Leggio 36 in researching Roman history and culture for her persona and
the legion, as well as making armor and learning and teaching Latin.

Their Majesties called Jasper Blacklocke to attend Them and praised
his long hours of Service to the incipient College of Silva Vulcani.
As Arts and Sciences Officer he coordinated guest lecturers to come
and give classes on the arts for the Incipient College and the Shire
of King’s Crossing alike, while fencing and assisting the marshals

Their Majesties called for THLord Malcolm MacAngus of Kinross to
attend Them. They spoke to him that some months before They had
called him into Their Presence and given him a task and asked if he
was now prepared to sit vigil and contemplate elevation into the Most
Noble Order of the Laurel. Their Majesties then called for the
Companions of the Order of the Laurel to attend and gave THLord
Malcolm a sprig of Bay Laurel to take with him as he contemplated the
wreath.
Lord Torsten Lampour was called into Their Majesties’ court and
inducted into the Order of the Keystone for serving in the kitchens
for 6 years helping to prepare feasts for all, setting up, tearing
down and cleaning up at events, he was always there to help. Scroll

Their Majesties inducted Lord Matthew Law of Aberdeen into the Order
of the Golden Alce for his skills with the rapier. Matthew was never
a braggart nor full of boast, but always cheerful, encouraging and

Their Majesties inducted Lady Alina Marie de Valenciennes into the
Order of the Millrind in absentia for her long years of labors as
Thescorre Baronial Exchequer and Regional Exchequer. Scroll by

Ian Eiriksson was Awarded Arms in Absentia for his many years of
serving in kitchens, cooking, cleaning, packing and unpacking. He
cooked his first lunch at an event at the age of 13 and has assisted
in the food at Pennsic Scribal Teas and many feasts across the land.

Their Majesties inducted Mistress Matilde des Pyrenees into the Order
of the Millrind for many long years of service to Coppertree, serving
as Seneschale, Autocrat, Cook, Teacher, Organizer of Vigils and

Isabetta Orsini was called forth and Awarded Arms for her enthusiastic
skills in the scribal arts producing many scrolls for barony and
kingdom. She always volunteers to help and is a faithful retainer in

Their Majesties Called THLady Jacquetta de Mehun forth to attend Them.
They asked her if she were ready to sit vigil and contemplate
elevation to the Most Noble Order of the Pelican. Her Majesty gifted
her with a Feather as the Companions of the Order of the Pelican
assembled as ushered her to her contemplations.
Lord Alexander du Lac was called before Their Majesties and thanked
for his service as Exchequer of the Barony of the Rhydderich Hael, and
especially for overseeing the event finances for Ice Dragon. Their
Majesties understood that he was also a marshal of fence, and has
spent many days at events ensuring the safety of the fencers, as he
was always working quietly in the sidelines from early morning to late
in the evening at events, for all of this They inducted him into the

Evening Court.
Their Majesties gave leave to His Excellency Caleb to hold his Baronial Court.
Their Majesties invited Lady Meadhbh of Clan McBain to speak to the
populace. She spoke that the members of her household would be
sponsoring a memorial tournament, a Pas d’Armes for Duke Morguhn
Sheridan to be held at Summer’s End, and invited all to attend and
compete.
Their Majesties invited Countess Liadain ni Dheirdre Chaomhanaigh,
Baroness Marguerite de la Marche and Duchess Anna Blackleaf to attend
Them. They thanked the good ladies for all of their assistance during
the day as they had helped to watch the princesses throughout the day.
Lord Ferris Sanct Georg was invited forward to speak as the Heavy
Weapons Marshal of the day. He announced that the Bear Pit tourney
had been won by Duke Timothy of Arindale, and presented him a scroll
by the hand of THLady Isolda Filia Georgii. Lord Ferris then
announced that the Cootie Tournament had been won by Lord Marek
Severian Vitsdrag adnd presented him with a scroll by the hand of Lady
Muirgel ingen Gilla Comgaill.
Lord Alexander du Lac was called forth as the Fencing Marshal of the
Day and announced that the Fencing Double Elimination Tournament had
been won by Duchess Dorinda Courtenay, and presented her with a scroll
by Lady Isabetta Orsini with words by Baron Caleb Reynolds. Lord
Alexander further called forth Lord William Parris who proved the
victor in the Fencing Bear Pit and presented him with a dagger as his
prize.
THLady Zoe Akropolitina was called forth to speak for the Youth Combat
of the Day, and she recognized the skills in the list that day of
Robert of the Debatable Lands as the third place fighter, Aaron the
Swift and the second place and Eiiden as the first place fighter. Her
Majesties further congratulated Robert and Aaron as they had issued a
challenge to hold the field and presented them each with tokens.
Their Majesties called for the attendance of Fauna. They had heard
much of this lady. Her fire was hard to contain. She fought
valiantly of the heavy weapons field, and was possessed of an
effervescent smile and warm giggle. She had also served as a
chirurgeon, and had been seen to drop her armor in the middle of a
tournament when she observed a fellow fighter to need assistance. She
even has been known to dance in the manner of the Middle East, and has
become so skilled that she has taught classes on dancing. All of this
so pleased Their Majesties that They Awarded her Arms. Scroll by

Their Majesties Awarded Arms to Aiden Hill in Absentia for his work as
one of the founding students of the Incipient College of Silva
Vulcani, and current service as the exchequer of the group, service
assisting marshals at practice and skills as a fencer. Scroll

Their Majesties then demanded the presence of Lady Gabrielle de
Winter. They had seen so many of the students of the Incipient
College of Silva Vulcani serving at events as retainers, and guards to
Their Majesties. They had seen the might of the army of the College
on the rapier field. They had seen the students helping tear down and
clean sites at the end of the day and always Lady Gabriella was at
their center, with her gentle word and kind encouragement sparking the
new members to further achievements, filling in any gaps where hands
were needed. Her grace in transporting the students and teaching them
gave Their Majesties great pleasure to be able to induct her into

Orlando di Bene del Vinta was called forth and Awarded Arms for his
service to the Fencing and artistic communities. He cleaned up late
in the evening after others have gone home, and had formed a madrigal

Their Majesties summoned Slaine to attend Them. They had heard of her
labors in the kitchens of Their Kingdom, staying late after events to
clean cabins, water bearing at Pennsic and offering her kind
assistance wherever she goes, and so They Awarded her Arms. Scroll in

Alethea Cowle was called forth and inducted into the Order of the
Silver Sycamore for her endeavors in the culinary arts, for creating a
children’s feast at Agincourt, Calligraphy, producing an award scroll,
and Heraldry, entering into consultation with the heralds to register

Their Majesties recalled Lady Gabrielle de Winter into Their Court and
presented her with a Cornelian that she might properly display the
token of her new Order.
Lady Etain Eame was called forward and praised for her skills with
needle and thread, for she had become very well known for her garb
creations. Not only did she cloth herself, but also many members of
her group and taught them to sew, and even took them shopping for the
best materials for their projects, and regularly adorned them with her
hand made buttons and lace. For this Their Majesties inducted her

Their Majesties called Lord Po Silvertop the Rogue to present himself
before Them. They had seen and read many scroll texts by Lord Po,
seen him perform and entertain many gentles and often with his words,
as he could be silly or somber and always amusing, and so They
inducted him into the Order of the Sycamore. Scroll and sail by Lady

Lady Isabella of Sylvan Glen was called forth and inducted into the
Order of the Sycamore for her contributions to the scribal arts making
scrolls and blanks or the kingdom while supporting the Sylvan Glen
Scriptorium, making garb, weaving belts and coordinating classes for

Lord Jacques of Sylvan Glen was called forth and created a companion
of the Order of the Sycamore for his skills in making scrolls for
kingdom awards, supporting the Sylvan Glen Scriptorium. Scroll by

Their Majesties called forth THLady Caol Fhionn inghean ui Neill
called Kalen. They had been impressed with her skills as a fighter,
and no matter where she travelled she brought fighting with her, and
during her travels she had equipped new fighters in Korea, Afghanistan
and the Middle East. Now she had returned to Aethelmearc and Their
Majesties were moved by her ferocity on the battlefield to induct her
into the Order of the Golden Alce. Scroll by Sir Sextus Plinius

Their Majesties invited Baroness Aoibhel of Dun Holen to approach the
thrones. Aoibhel had wished to congratulate her Knight Syr Barak
Elandris Mago on this 30th anniversary of his elevation to the
Chivalry, and so Their Majesties called Syr Mago to join Them, that he
might be recognized. However, Their Majesties noted that much had
passed in those 30 years. Syr Mago had been instrumental in starting
the youth fighting programs in Aethelmearc and had even been part of
the committee to write the original rules for the youth. He had
served his Barony as Seneschale and knight marshal and won the
accolades of heavy weapons champion numerous times for the Barony of
the Rhydderich Hael, and for Aethelmearc. For Decades he had been a
mentor not just to fighters, but to the fighting community as a whole,
and served as the Warlord of Aethelmearc. His service to Aethelmearc
stretched the entire duration of the Kingdom and he was instrumental
in the region attaining principality status in the first place. For
all of this long love for the kingdom of Aethelmearc shown by Syr Mago
Their Majesties created him a Baron of Their Court. Scroll limned by

Baroness Katryne of Bakestonden was called forth and inducted into the
Order of the Millrind for her long service as camp mom at Pennsic, and
serving the hospitality tables at Pennsic for more than a decade.

Their Majesties brought forth THLady Marija Kotok and inducted her in
the Order of the Millrind for her works as Chronicler, Autocrat, Cook,
Organizer of 25 scribes in Her Sylvan Glen Scriptorium, and Youth

Don Behrend von Elmendorf was inducted into the Order of the Millrind
for his service to the Rapier community for decades teaching and
marshalling, and all the while setting up lists and tearing them down,

Their Majesties summoned THLord Malcolm MacAngus of Kinross to attend
Them. They questioned him whether he was ready to proceed and upon
his assent, Their Majesties called for the companions of the Order of
the Laurel to attend. Their Majesties heard the counsel of Duke Barak
Hasdrubal as a Royal Peer, Baron Manfried van Halstern spoke for the
Order of the Chivalry, Baroness Camilla di Capri spoke for the Order
of the Laurel and Mistress Anne de Guzman delivered a poem of praise
for Malcolm, Mistress Cori Ghora spoke for the Order of the Pelican.
Their Majesties then invested Malcolm with the regalia of his order,
and he was given a laurel wreath medallion, a tam embroidered of a
laurel wreath, a hood, and the ancestral fruitcake of the Laurels of
Aethelmearc, and he gave his oath of service to the kingdom. Scroll

Sir Tristan Sexwulf was called forward and made a companion of the
Order of the Millrind for his service to the kingdom as Earl Marshal,

Their Majesties took a brief intermission while THLady Ysabeau
Tiercelin and Baroness Ekaterina Volkova announced the winners of the
fundraising raffles.
Maitress Yvianne de Castel d’Avignon announced the individual category
winners in the Arts and Sciences Pentathlon and presented prize

Shoshida Tora Gozen for Animal Arts, Lady Brigette de Sainte

demos, and autocratting, and running the Rhydderich Hael Scribal

THLady Odrianna vander Brugghe was inducted into the Order of the
Millrind for her services as the autocrat of many events, running
kitchens, serving as Baronial Webminister, Arts and Sciences Officer,

King Duncan announced his choice for favorite entry in the Pent as the
Red Velvet Hat by Lady Jacqueline de Moliere, and presented her with a
prize scroll. Queen Ilish chose the Icon of St Catharine by THLady
Anlaith ingen Trena as her favorite and presented a prize scroll by
THLady Ysabeau Tiercelin. The Prince Royale Wolfgang gave a token to
Vickie Waite for her ceramic Phoenix as his favorite, and Her Majesty
Ilish gave a token to Lady Mairen O’Cadhla as the Princesses Elisabeth
and Isabell’s favorite entry for her doll castle.
His Excellency Caleb Reynolds announced his Baron’s Choice entry of
the day as the Cheese made by the hand of Lady Lidia Allen, and
presented her with a scroll by Pani Zofia Kowalewska with words by
Baron Caleb Reynolds.
Their Majesties invited Mistress Alianor de Ravenglas the Kingdom
Minister of Arts and Sciences and THLady Odrianna vander Brugghe and
THLady Katla Ulfhedinn to attend. They announced that The Arts and
Sciences Minister’s choice for best entry was that of Lady Thyri
Erbewyfe, and gave honorable mention to the entry of Lord Richard von
Tanner. They further recognized Joacob Motz for his entries in the
youth division, and Shoshanna for her entries in the youth category.
THlady Isolda filia Georgii was called forth and she presented a bowl
to THLady Marija Kotok her choice as the coordinator of the Anno
Societatis 50 Challenge.
Their Majesties then called forward the Members of the Incipient
College of Silva Vulcani and presented them with a prize scroll as the
winners of the Group Pentathlon. Thora the Destroyer was recognized
as the winner of the Novice Category of the Pentathlon. Jake Motz
was recognized as the winner of the Youth Category of the Pentathlon.
Their Majesties called forward THLady Tora Shida no Gozen and
recognized her as the third place winner of the Arts and Sciences
Pentathlon. Baroness Katryne of Bakestonden was recognized as the
second place winner, and Dona Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen was
presented a prize scroll as the first place winner of the Arts and
Sciences Pentathlon.
Their Majesties called forth Mistress Irene von Schmetterling and
inducted her into the Order of the Fleur d’Aethelmearc for her skills
in spinning and weaving, equestrian arts, producing house tack, and
her study and teaching of period fencing manuals. Scroll by Lady

Lady Muirgel ingen Gilla Comgaill was called forward and inducted into
the Order of the White Horn for her long years of support of the art
of Thrown Weapons, demonstrating, her skills with knife and axe, and

Their Majesties called for Master Michael Alewright to attend Them.
Master Michael sprang from his seat and delivered a spirited oration
in poetic form to congratulate His Majesty Duncan on his Birthday.
Their Majesties however were not finished with Michael and commanded
him to approach the thrones as They had more business for him.
Michael had furnished words for scrolls across the kingdom, gave
freely of his hand made books for Vigils for the Peers of Their Realm.
He composed poetry and prose alike, and performed for the delight of
all, arguing cases even for the smallest defendant. For so much
service to the Realm of Aethelmearc, Their Majesties created Michael a

Their Majesties gathered together the members of the Order of the
Pelican and asked them if they had counseled the candidate. They then
called for THLady Jacquetta de Mehun to attend Them. Their Majesties
heard the counsel of Baroness Aoibhel of Dun Holen for the Order of
the Pelican. Countess Aylysandra the White Moor spoke as a Royal
Peer. Sir Seichel Gaita spopke for the Order of the Chivalry.
Maitress Muriel de Chimay spoke for the Order of the Laurel, and
THLord Augusto Giuseppe da San Donato spoke as a representative of the
Populace. Jacquetta gave her word that she would act and serve the
kingdom as a peer, and Their Majesties called for regalia, a medallion
for her to wear and for the Ancestral Medallion of the Pelicans of
Aethelmearc. Master Malcolm MacAngus of Kinross presented her with a
capelet, and a cap of maintenance was placed on her head. Their
Majesties then bid her rise and join her companions of the Order of

Their Majesties thanked Baron Caleb Reynolds for being Their host that
day and the autocrat THLord Augusto Giuseppe da San Donato, their

the Arts and Sciences Pentathlon and all her staff for assisting.
They recognized the Scribes and Wordsmiths who had contributed to the
courts that day.
