Greetings from Maitresse Yvianne de Castel d'Avignon
A&S Competition Coordinator for Ice Dragon 2011
Ice Dragon is over and I'm still not sure whether to be happy or sad.
I'm definitely happy that so many enjoyed the competition and that I will
now have time to create more art myself ... but sad that next year's Ice
Dragon seems so far away.
Thanks to all who participated in the A&S competition as spectators,
entrants, judges and support staff. Congratulations to those who went home
with brightly colored ribbons/bookmarks.
I hope all who attended had a good time and are further inspired to
participate in the arts.
Coordinating Ice Dragon's A&S Competition was a completely new and exciting
experience and one I am happy to have had. I worked not only with artisans
but a generous, dedicated and highly competent staff ... for that I am
extremely grateful. Some of them have been working with me since August,
others just for the day, but all were integral to the success of the
competition.
His Excellency, Caleb, Baron of the Rhydderich Hael, the Autocrat - Augusto
Giuseppe da San Donato and the good people of the Hael for allowing me the
honor and pleasure of coordinating this time honored competition at their
premier event.

All of the Judges. Thank you for your time in service to the arts and for
sharing you knowledge and experience with the artisans.
Those who sponsored special prizes and/or left tokens of appreciation for
the entrants.
My husband & Champion, Sir Aengus MacBain and our son, Lord Rouland of
Willowbrooke for services too numerous to list ... but most of all your love
and support.
Last but not least, the entrants ... for without you and your efforts, it
would be impossible to hold such a grand and glorious display of knowledge
and skill.
Thank you all so much!!
Regards,
Yvianne
