Fireside Feast Shire of Sunderoak
September 2-4, 2011

Ever wanted to try to cook over an open fire? See it done? OK, just eat some 
really good food? Here is your chance.

Saturday will be filled with the opportunity to take open air cooking 
classes. Any who wish to join us for the evening meal may bring supplies and 
prepare your own gastronomical delight over an open fire or bring a prepared 
dish from home. Modern fare as well as period food is welcome. Fire pits and 
wood will be provided for those cooking on site. Limited ironware and spits 
will be available - please contact Katla or Yvianne in advance to inquire or 
reserve.

Our knight marshal has informed us that due to the time of year and site's 
close proximity to Pennsic, we may want to fortify our defenses. Therefore, 
he welcomes any with armor and weapons to join him on the list field.

There will also be youth combat.

Our thrown weapons marshals have not only agreed to run an open range all 
day, but have planned an exciting night time tournament for Saturday evening 
(glow sticks will be provided).

Saturday's evening meal will be served buffet style. There is no feast hall 
on site, so bring your own table & chairs or plan to eat picnic style. The 
Shire will provide hearty meat dishes. All other offerings will be provided 
by attendees.

Site fees:

Onboard - Adult- $8 plus a dish to pass, Children 5-17 $7.
Outboard - Adult $8, Children 5-17 $5.
Camping $5/person/night.
A $5 non-member service charge will be collected for those not able to show 
proof of membership.
