I took the opportunity at Pennsic to speak a good many gentles about the Travel Guide project. Now that war is behind us, it's a perfect time to turn our attention to pursuits of a gentler nature. Some of the people I spoke to told me that their groups have articles in progress. As always, I will be happy to do anything I can assist those of working on pieces and to encourage those groups who don't have anyone to write an article yet to get started. If I can be any assistance, just let me know.
I am still looking for articles of an historical nature as well. If you have a stash of old newsletters, look through them to see what you can find. Do you have copies of handbooks or manuals from years past? Were you a witness to a seminal event and would like to write about it? Do you have a personal story that shows the spirit of the SCA? If so, please take a moment to send them to me.
The information I collect will be shared with the Kingdom Historian and many of the articles will be published in The Aestel. Thank you for taking time to participate in this project.

Some people have a wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy.- A.H. Maslow- Are you one of them?
