The Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties Duncan and Ilish,
King and Queen of Aethelmearc, held at the Interkingdom Academy held
in the Shire of Sylvan Glen on the 23rd day of October Anno Societatis
xxxxv, THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Sivler Buccle, with the
assistance of THLady Bera of Tavistland.
Their Majesties invited Mistress Elisabeth Johanna von Flossenburg,
the Mistress of Arts and Sciences, and Mistress Juliana Delamare, the
Chancellor of the Academy, to attend Them. Elisabeth and Juliana
invited all of the teachers Ros Mairi Anderson, Lady Kallista
Mrganova, Baroness Orianna Fridrikskona, Baron Fridirkr Tomasson, Dona
Jeanne Francesca Fitzgerald of Atlantia, Lady Elsa de Lyon of the
East, Baron Bardulf Rauen of Atlantia who had run a portrait studio
all day, Dame Morwenna Trevethan of Atlantia, Lord Fergus of Hanna of
Atlantia, Her Majesty Ilish O’Donovan, Mistress Juliana Delamare, Lady
Rosamund du Grasse of the East, Mistress Alicia Langland, Master Gille
MacDhounuill, Lord Petr Kotok, Lady Lucrezia Malatesta of Atlantia,
Lady Isabella of Sylvan Glen, Amber of Dragons End, Tamara of Dragons
End, Samantha of Dragons End, Mistress Euriol of Lothian, Lady Lorin
of the Dual Masque of the East, Master Victor of Shrewsbury, Lady
Magdalena Gdansk of the East, Fruthikona Hrefna inn heppna, Lord
Grimolfr Ormalfrson, and THLord Alaxandair O Conchobhair to attend and
presented them tokens of thanks. Their Majesties also presented
tokens to the teachers to thank them for making the academy happen.
Mistress Elisabeth and Mistress Juliana further asked the Crown to
indulge them further. It had been the tradition to induct a new
Fellow of the Academy at each session, and there had been no fellows
inducted during the summer session of the Academy. So they invited
Mistress Euriol of Lothian and Fruthikona Hrefna inn heppna to attend
and inducted them as the 13th and 14th Fellows of the Aethelmearc
Academy. Scrolls to be forthcoming.
Mistress Elisabeth and Mistress Juliana thanked the Autocrat Lady
Isabella of Sylvan Glen for all her labors to make the event a success
and THLady Bera of Tavistland for her help with the previous fall
session who had leant her guidance to this session, and top all of the
staff who had assisted the functions of the event.
The youth in attendance were invited to come forward and Their
Majesties gave them tokens to encourage them, as They had personally
witnessed their service and teaching skills.
Their Majesties invited all of the Gentles of the Shire of Sylvan Glen
who had served as Her Majesty’s Guards that day to come forth and
presented them with tokens of thanks.
Their Majesties called Lady Katherine of Caithness to attend Them, and
thanked her for her many efforts seeing to Their needs all day long as
Royalty Liaison, she had ensured that Their Majesties had food, and
that Their children had food, and that retainers were available, and
presented her with a token of Their gratitude.
THLady Hrefna Ulfvarinnsdottir was called forth and thanked for her
service looking after the Princesses and entertaining them for much of
the day. Their Majesties presented her with a token of Their thanks
for her gifts of time during the day.
Their Majesties called Gillian of Sylvan Glen to attend. They had
heard much of her efforts with food and decorating for events. They
understood that she had organized the food for the day, and the food
for the Shire’s Twelfth Night Celebration. They had heard further
that she was a regular attendee of the Shire’s Scriptorium producing
scrolls for Their Majesties’ Courts. For all of this Their Majesties

Felip the Bold was summoned to Their Majesties. He was praised as a
hard worker, who helped at events, and so it pleased Their Majesties
to induct him into the Order of the Silver Buccle. Scroll limned by

Their Majesties called Angellino the Bookmaker to Them and Awarded him
Arms for his many years of service hosting Shire functions, Barbeques,
Arts and Sciences evenings, making delicious cheese and potato soup,
maintaining the Shire’s webpage, and serving faithfully at events.

Bijon of Sylvan Glen was called forth and inducted into the Order of
the Silver Buccle for his efforts helping at events, assisting with

Their Majesties were pleased to call Vincenzo da Loria to attend Them.
They understood that he had lived in many groups during his 19 years
in the SCA, and they had finally caught him long enough to Award him
Arms for his skills as a heavy fighter and fencer, a member of the
Sylvan Glen Scriptorium, teacher and always willing to help those
around him with any endeavors. Scroll limned by Lady Gwenhwyvar

Their Majesties invited Zaphira of Sylvan Glen to come forth. They
had seen her throughout the day helping and had heard from others that
she made a habit of helping at all the events that she attends, and so
They inducted her into the Order of the Silver Buccle. Scroll limned

Lord Griffin le Grey was called forth and inducted into the Order of
the Keystone for his labors serving as the Shire’s Exchequer, enter
the Arts and Sciences Pentathlon at Ice Dragon, and always assisting
in any fashion needed at events. Scroll by Lady Margarita d’Sienna.
Jacqueline of Sylvan Glen was called to attend Their Majesties for her
service to the Shire assisting with cleaning sites after events are
done. For this Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the

limned by Countess Liadain ni Dheirdre Chaomhanaigh.
Their Majesties Awarded Arms to Cailin Mac Kinnach for his skills in
heavy weapons, teaching new fighters and bringing a pell to practice
so that all might enjoy it, and teaching classes. Scroll scrivened by

Earl of Sylvan Glen, now known as Chauncey Longbow, was inducted into
the Order of the Keystone for his dedication to archery in the shire,
serving as a one man moving company and his invaluable service at

by THLord Cadell Balidd du with painting by THLady Odrianna vander
Brugghe.
Their Majesties called Sarah of Sylvan Glen to attend Them and spoke
her knack for always finding ways to help. They understood that she
was also quite an accomplished seamstress, and so They Awarded her
Arms. Scroll limned by Lord Vincenzo da Loria and THLady Marija Kotok
and scrivened by Wilhelmina Baumgarten.
Their Majesties called for Lady Katherine of Caithness who had never
been for from Their sides all day. They had witnessed her work all
day long, and understood that she assisted the archery practices, was
known to organize parades, outings and fundraisers and to volunteer
for anything else that she could assist with. For all her labors
Their Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Keystone. Scroll

Their Majesties called for the attendance of Annike of Sylvan Glen.
They had been impressed by this young man’s voracity for thrown
weapons. He had already posted a royal rounds average of 30, a great
feat for one so young. His love for the Thrown Weapons was so great
that all he wanted for his birthday was a pair of axes of his own.
This so impressed Their Majesties that They were please to induct him
into the Order of the Silver Alce. Scroll limned by the Sylvan Glen

Their Majesties wished it known that Lord Drogo Rabenwald was this day
inducted into Their Order of the Sycamore for his years of service to
the SCA as a merchant and smith who makes much of his wares based from
actual finds and researches digs to find new items to recreate and
sell. He even judges the Arts and Sciences display at Blackstone

Their Majesties wished it further known that Lady Oonagh Fadoch was
inducted into Their Order of the Sycamore for her many years of
participation and constructive assistance in the shire. She as well
studies the objects that Drogo produces so that she can teach
customers the appropriate uses of the items they sell. Scroll in

Lady Margarita d’Sienna was called forth. Their Majesties spoke to
her that it pleased Them that whatever this good lady attempts, she
does so with joy and enthusiasm. They had heard about Margarita’s
first kill in heavy weapons and the giggles that had erupted from her
helm when she felt her sword bite a helm for the first time, and that
she brings new fighters in and encourages all. For this Their
Majesties inducted her into the Order of the Golden Alce. Scroll

Their Majesties Invited Lady Isabella of Sylvan Glen to attend as the
Autocrat of the day. Lady Isabella thanked Their Majesties for
attending their event and invited the members of the Shire of Sylvan
Glen to join her in paying their taxes for the year in apple themed
goods. Lady Isabella then thanked the Academy Staff and all of her
staff who had coordinated facets of the event. But she had one more
piece of business, and presented a cake to Princess Isabell as her
birthday was to be the 27th of October and lead the audience in
singing Happy Birthday to her.
Their Majesties invited all of the youth and adults who had spent time
during the day guarding or watching the Princesses Elizabeth and
Isabell to come forward and presented them with tokens.
Their Majesties recognized all fo the scribes present who had assisted
in the production of scrolls for the court that day. They further
thanked the Shire as They had been glad to attend the event that day.
Even though They were far from home, They felt welcome. They
especially wished to thank the Shire for the food as it had been
plentiful and delicious, and all Their family, especially the
Princesses had Their full.
