To the Kingdom of Aethelmearc does Odriana vander Brugghe bid greetings.
Before getting to the core "thank yous", I have some special
acknowledgements that I would like to make:
Lady Elss of Augsburg was my greatest support throughout the process of
getting everything coordinated for the event. She took care of getting
the larder to and from the event, assisted with some of the pre-cooking
for dinner, and generally provided me with a strong arm to lean on when I
needed it. My own time was significantly reduced due to family issues and
Elss' generosity of time was integral to the Agincourt feast going as well
and as smoothly as it did. This is all in addition to the work that she
did in order to provide such a plentiful and tasty lunch. Lady Elss is a
true treasure and I appreciate her very, very much.
Alethea Cowle came up with the idea of cooking a Children's Lunch, planned
the menu (all medieval recipes from Godecookery), and coordinated making
the lunch happen at the event. She made her mother very, very proud with
her doing this and it was a joy being able to work with my daughter in the
kitchen. Also, a big thank you to all of the children that participated
with the Children's Lunch; having appreciative people to eat the meal
makes preparing the meal more meaningful.
I also wish to thank Mistress Arianna of Wynthrope for being so kind as to
watch Alethea for me so that she could participate in the Youth Combat
Championships. Alethea had a wonderful time and I appreciate your
assistance in making that happen for her with my not being able to leave
the kitchen for more than a couple minutes at a time. Thank you so much.
Eimhin mac Ultain, Lady Violante de Luna, and Alexi Krycek were the core
kitchen staff for the day - taking on all jobs with grace, skill, and joy.
Their energy and stable presence is what made the kitchen run as smoothly
as it did.
Mistress Mathilde des Pyrenees and Hector came in from Coppertree to spend
their day working in the kitchen. I don't have words to express my great
appreciation for your assistance, especially given the great distance that
you traveled to render it. Thank you.
Lady Ottilige von Rappoltsweiler provided serviceware and her formidable
presentation skills for the plates served at High Table. It's a pleasure
to watch you work and I am so glad that you had fun doing it - everything
looked beautiful.
The following people lent their time and efforts to creating the various
meals that were served throughout the day:

Alaric MacConnal
Libby Parker
Emrys Eustace
Adeliz

Violante de Luna

Special mention must also be given to the Vulcansmead Clean Up Crew. These
folks came into the kitchen and immediately began washing, drying,
sorting, schlepping, packing, and generally making sure that everything
was clean and put away properly. The kitchen staff was completely beat
after a long day of food prep and having a group of folks that were not
only willing to clean, but were enthusiastic about it. They were all
absolutely amazing and their contribution is greatly appreciated. As Liam
said in his Thank Yous, they truly did show us that service is the
backbone of the Society.

If there is anyone that I missed, please let me know so that I may
apologize and publicly thank you. We did our best throughout the day to
get everyone signed onto the volunteer list, but it's not a perfect
system. Everyone that assisted is very much appreciated and I hope that
you had a good time at the event.
