my apologies if this arrives more than once. gmail's chrome needed
polished. <grump>
a small question. who/how will the people in pictures be id'd? when i go
to an event and take pictures i don't stop to note who is in them. short of
stopping after each picture, checking the faces and running around waving
model releases, i don't see how i could possibly ensure no one was missed.
i say "run around..." because i have a well known propensity for forgetting
names. (if i haven't used your name in the last 3 minutes i've forgotten
it) even if i recognized All the faces and All the names, how can i find
them in the database being discussed when i can't spell 99% of sca names?
a thought just occurred to me (please, snickers only. no guffaws. it
annoys the neighbors)
how do we define recognizable faces? that fuzzy collection of features
doesn't appear recognizable to me but when the picture appears he/she are
sure to be able to pick out themselves from the blur. or, while the face is
not quite recognizable, the heraldry/armor/camp scene/etc. makes it
recognizable to those who know the gentle.
do we need model releases for crudely drawn pictures of pictures?
sionn, the lost
"lost in time and...lost in space...and...meaning."
