The Report of the Court of Their Royal Majesties Duncan and Ilish,
King and Queen of Aethelmearc, at the Hallowtide Celebration held in
the Shire of Blackwater on the 6th day of November anno societatis 45,
THLord Brandubh Ó Donnghaile, Silver Buccle, with the assistance of
THLady Sophie Davenport.
Afternoon Court.
Their Majesties called upon Etain ingen Cormac and awarded her arms
for her labors as chatelaine, cook, fighter and service as demos.

Evening Court.
Their Majesties invited Duchess Dorinda Courtenay to attend Them as
the fencing marshal of the day.  Her Grace announced that Don Benedict
Fergus atte Mede had won the tourney of the day and presented him with
a small prize for his lady and Her Majesty also presented him with a
token.
Lord Seamus MacPherson was called forth to speak as the heavy weapons
marshal of the day.  He announced that there had been two tourneys.
The first was a First Blood tourney and the victor was Lord Ples le
Bruce.  Their Majesties presented Ples with a token and a scroll to
commemorate his victory.  The second tourney had been a Blood Brothers
team tourney.  This tourney resulted in a tie between the Teams of
Baron Vladisla Nikulich and Lord Gabriel, and Duke Marcus Eisenwald
and Sir Stevan Ulfkellson.  The teams were presented with a prize
scroll which was split in two, and Her Majesty presented tokens to
each.
His Majesty called upon Corey Higgins and presented him with a token
of His esteem.  Corey had expressed his desire to fight the king, he
was nervous to enter the ring with such an experienced fighter, but at
the same time he was excited at the chance to cross swords with the
King.  His Majesty had been truly honored and pleased to have someone
with such enthusiasm seek him out.
Their Majesties called upon Lord Valentine Lyme to come forth as he
had Thrown Weapons scores to recognize in Their Majesties’ Court.
Lord Valentine called forth Lady Renata Rouge, Ken the Lost and Lord
Raadjer Katla.  All three of these gentles had produced a thrown
weapons average of over 30 and were now officially recognized as
Verfurs and he presented each with the badge of their new rank.
Lord Geoffrey Albryght the emissary from the Kingdom of An Tir was
invited to attend Their Majesties.  He brought forth tokens from his
crown and presented them to Their Majesties in a wool bag that he had
sewn himself.  Their Majesties thanked him for his kindness and
presented him with tokens and gifts to convey back to Their Majesties
of An Tir.  However Duncan and Ilish had been in contact with Their
Majesties Tiernan and Miranda of An Tir.  They had advised Them that
Lord Geoffrey was to be in attendance at the event that day and asked
that Duncan and Ilish conduct some business for them.  Their Majesties
Duncan and Ilish then inducted Geoffrey into the Order of the Jambe de
Leon for arts and Sciences for his woodworking and gifts to largess of

Their Majesties called for Ken the Lost to attend Them.  They had
heard how he volunteers in any and every way he can.  He sets up event
sites, posts direction signs to event sites, makes armor and weapons
and works in the lost in found tent for many long hot days at Pennsic.
 For all of this work They Awarded him Arms and made him a Lord of the

Asme Galiah Benazir was called forth and inducted into the Order of
the Silver Buccle for her help at practices in the Shire.  She helps
with cleaning up the armor, watching the younger children, and
assisting in the kitchens.  Scroll by Lady Katherine of Caithness.
Their Majesties inducted Thorgrim Axe Kicker into the Order of the
Silver Alce for his efforts in youth boffer, training new youth
fighters.  He even helps with clean up at the end of practices and
babysits so the adults can enjoy themselves as well.  Scroll by

Lord Seamus MacPherson was called forth and thanked for his long
service as knight marshal of the shire.  Even though personal injury
keeps him from fighting he still organizes practices and serves as
marshal at events so that others can enjoy themselves.  This long
standing selfless act inspired Their Majesties to induct him into the

Their Majesties called Lady Aleyd von Kiel to attend Them.  They had
witnessed firsthand her lovely illuminations of scrolls for Their
Courts and had tasted the fruits of her labors in the kitchen.  For
these acts They inducted her into the Order of the Sycamore.  Scroll

Lord Johann filius Augustin, known as John the axe kisser, was called
forth and inducted in to the Order of the Keystone.   He was a man who
could not say no, he is usually the last to leave a site after clean
up, always working hard so that others might enjoy themselves.  Scroll

Their Majesties called for Lady Renata Rouge and inducted her in the
Order of the Golden Alce.  They had been impressed with her return to
heavy fighting and completing a deed of arms at Harvest Raid and
understood that she was skilled with knife and axe on the thrown

Their Majesties thanked the members of the Shire of Blackwater for
hosting a birthday Tea for the Princess Isabell, and for the lovely
Puppet show that had even allowed the girls to play with the puppets.
They thanked the Shire and The Autocrat and the staff of the event for
having Their Majesties and accommodating Them so that They could hold
Their Curia at the event.  They summoned the scribes who had created
scrolls and gave them tokens of thanks and invited all the marshals to
attend and thanked them for their service to the event.
