[SCA-AE] Fwd: Cleveland Museum Field Trip 12/05/10

Good Morning!

Last month the Shire of Sunderoak had a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art. It was a 
great success! We had so much fun we are going to be going again and would invite you to 
join us!

Sunday December 5th - we will meet at the Museum at 10:30 spend the day wandering through 
their treasures - parking is readily available at the museums parking garage (maximum for 
the day is $9)There is no fee for the museums main collections including many medieval 
pieces and their armor court! They do however accept donations. 

In addition to their normal collection there are also two visiting exhibitions that are of 
interest. "The Glory of the Painted Page" hand-painted manuscript illuminations exhibit is 
free (11/6- 2/27). "Treasure of Heaven:Saints, Relics and Devotions in Medieval Europe" is 
$12 for adults $6 ages 6-18 (10/17 - 01/17). 

Also going on at the museum that weekend:

How Did They Make That? -1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
An interactive demonstration of metalworking techniques seen in the 
exhibition. Also experience hands-on workshops for children and families 
that replicate the techniques used to adorn objects within the show.
