Howard Thomas “Tom” Cress Jr., 76, of St. Albans passed away Monday July 26, 2010, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md., after a short illness. 
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, 409 Sixth Ave., St. Albans, with Pastor Harley Cline officiating. 
Friends may call two hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. 
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Claybourne Cemetery, Route 37 Richwood, Ohio. 
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Blvd., South Charleston, WV 25309, or to the National Kidney Foundation, 700 5th Ave., 4th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
