[SCA-AE] Pennsic Children's Water Battle - we have a plan

While I have a very full schedule at Pennsic already so unless it's at a time I am otherwise unoccupied, I cannot volunteer. However, I will happily donate money toward this battle. My kids have missed it in past years due to scheduling issues and were really hoping to make it this year, so they were disappointed to hear it might be cancelled.
I cruised the Pennsic website a bit and did not find a listing for the water battle - perhaps it was removed when ShadowClan announced the cancellation?

Ok.. We have a plan (or perhaps an inkling).  Let’s see how many people We can round up to help with set up/clean up and/or helping during the water “battle”.  I’m at work, so I can’t check what date this was scheduled for..   So, to be organized:
 

What date/time was the water battle scheduled?Let’s send out a challenge from Our Kingdom to the Known World (starting with the East of course, right Liam?) to see if we can get enough volunteers to make this work.Can someone, Taranach (?) see if there is or could be a paypal account for “funds”.  I think if we gave a list of items that work well for booty.. some people would happily donate “treasures” while others would donate funds.  We were planning a fund raiser before/after opening ceremonies, we could easily split the funds, with ½ going to this battle.Once I get a date/time, I’ll type up an “official” challenge, to be posted far and wide.We all stir up what interest we can and see if we can get enough volunteers and “donations” to make this work.  I figure we should know by Sunday.  Taranach, can you ask them to “un-cancel” it..perhaps make it pending?) until Sunday?  I’m thinking we need around ~ 75 volunteers..
 100 being better.  A minimum of $200 pledged for treasures.. along with the fund raiser and donations of treasure should cover that end.  More of each is always better.  J   We do better with specific goals.  
If anyone already knows they are willing and able to donate their time and/or money/treasures, please let me know.  We are currently in the midst of much Pennsic Prep.. if there is anyone willing to serve as point person for Us (make a list of who volunteers and for what), that would be a huge help.  Just let Us know.
 
We have every confidence that We can make this work and help carry on this wonderful tradition.
