Regarding last year's theft of intellectual property and the resulting
  fashion trend:

  I would like you all to know that today I received a settlement check from
  the company which manufactured the t-shirt. I can't divulge the amount
  according to the terms of the agreement I signed, but I felt it  
sufficient.

  Please feel free to cross post this or otherwise get this information out  
on
  my behalf-- I would really like others to know that I appreciate all the
  support, and more especially, that there really is recourse when this
  happens.

  And just in case, it never hurts to have "Copyright" and the date at the
  bottom of computer pages with your work, even though you and I both know
  that copyright attaches automatically when you do the work. It's just a  
good
  idea to remind them!
