Greetings!
 
The time for Pennsic draws near.  We find Ourselves in need of
assistance from Our hard-working and amazing Kingdom.  Many hands make
light work.  Pennsic is a very busy time for all of Us and it.s further
complicated when We need to be in multiple places at the same time.
Often it.s very difficult trying to choose what We can attend and what
We can do at Pennsic.  We know this is true for everyone.
 
We ask that those of you who can give a gift of your time, your service
and/or your talents.  Even one shift or one project helps and is greatly
appreciated.  We have been asked what do We need to make Pennsic run
smoother and how to show all how glorious Our kingdom and People
are.. to the Known World.
 
We have listed some specific needs below.    If you would like to help,
but aren.t certain who to contact or how you can help, please contact
Mistress Juliana Delamaere: julianadelamere at gmail.com, Our Reign
Coordinator.  There are some things that can be done now.  Another pair
of hands is always welcome.  We will be updating Our website with more
current information.

Understand that We list all these out so those of you who have a desire
to help but don.t know how or what you can do, have an understanding of
the kinds of things available.  If you would like to be a part of the
Royal Presence at Pennsic, feel free to find a venue that will be
entertaining and fun for you. 
 
Retainers:  We need retainers to help keep Us sane as We travel around
Pennsic and within Our camp.  If you would like to help, but aren.t
certain who to contact or how you can help, please contact Mistress
Euriol of Lothian: euriol at yahoo.com.  Please include any restrictions,
like day/evening, a specific time slot, 1 hour shift, in camp shift,
etc.  Also, if you would like to retain for the Princess Royale during a
specific function (Our Youth Tournament, Court, archery warpoint),
please let her know that as well.  Our youth are welcome to retain for
Her. (help keep Her company).
 
Gate guard: We need brave souls wiling and able to provide fierce
protection and/or a warm welcome to Visitors of Our Sylvan Kingdom.

do have 2 awesome axes and kingdom tabards for any who would like to use
them.
 
Hospitality: Hospitality can use friendly faces to help at the
hospitality table in Royal Camp, to welcome visitors to Our Gracious
kingdom (amongst other things).  Please contact Countess Alexandra:

Royal Camp set-up:  This goes much quicker with many hands.  The Kingdom
Camp will be set up on Sunday August 1st, starting at 11 am.  Please
contact Lord Tigernach MacCathail: black_company at hotmail.com  if you can
help or just show up ready to work.  We will have food available, and if
anyone is so inclined,   We would also like a couple of people to help
with preparing food (likely sandwiches, fruit, etc) and perhaps someone
to coordinate it?  
 
Camp tear down: This also goes much quicker with many hands.
Traditionally this does take less time then set up.  We do not have
anyone coordinating volunteers for this.  If you are willing and able to
help with tear down or help with coordinating the efforts, please let Us
know.  (Coordinator wanted).  This will be Saturday, August 14th,
starting at 11 am.   We also need people to help with the food and
someone to coordinate that.  This food is also paid for, already.  We
like to feed those who help Us.  .
 
Kingdom Party (Monday August 9th):   We need someone to coordinate the
party.  We can also use help with set up/tear down;  donations of food
and/or help preparing food (contact Mistress Euriol of Lothian:
euriol at yahoo.com); donations of drink non-alcoholic and alcohol from our
famous brewers (contact THL Iain Ard mac an Bhaird
iainmacabhaird at tigerfire.net ); help with scheduling or coming up with
entertainment ideas; help running or donations/loan of period games;
help with children activities during the party.  Youth specific
activities will start 2 hours before the .traditional. kingdom party
start time.  
 
We are looking forward to having a wonderful time at Pennsic and seeing
many of you.
