On a related topic, however, instructors should keep in mind for 
limited-attendance or hands-on classes that there may be some parents/RAs 
[responsible adults] sitting in the back who should not be counted toward your 
class limit. Just because the parent is there doesn't mean that the student/RA 
pair necessarily take two spots. Please plan your space if needed to accommodate 
that possibility.
