I have seen very few people in this discussion mention whether or not
they are members.  I'm curious where you come to the conclusion that
the people who dislike the NMS, or the increase to it, aren't members.
 I just haven't seen that being anyone's obvious perspective.

Originally, the main point of all this was how to make events more
appealing to new participants.  I really have no idea why people
started screaming about the 'freeloaders and slackers' who play a lot
but don't become members.  But the 'Us and Them' mentality that's
emerged has been a real eye-opener for me.
