How many times have you gone to Pennsic intending to attend lots of  
classes, only to find that you’re too busy to get to them all? Well,  
the Shire of Abhainn Ciach Glais has an answer to your dilemma: Come  
to Æthelmearc Æcademy on June 12!  Spend a day taking classes in  
June, and you’ll have more time for other things at Pennsic! There  
will be a wide range of classes, certainly something for everyone.  
Learn a new skill or spend time perfecting an old one. If weather  
permits, we plan to offer a track of classes in outdoor cooking,  
including baking in a wood-fired oven, at a private home 4 blocks  
from the church. Teachers, if you’re planning to teach a class at  
Pennsic, consider offering a “trial run” at Æcademy!

classes, please contact the Chancellor of the AEcademy, Mistress

classes, there will be an A&S display. Please contact Mistress Alicia  
Langland( hutchnsn AT bucknell DOT edu) with any special needs you have.

The site is the Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Main Street, Hughesville  
PA 17737.The site opens at 9:00 a.m. Classes begin at 10:00 and end  
at 5:00, with a break at noon for lunch. The site closes at 6:00.

An all-day sideboard will be provided by the talented members of the  
Guild of Saint Lawrence (Abhiann Ciach Ghlais’s Cooks’ Guild), under  
the supervision of Lady Brygida Zajachowa, 570-473-8939;  
happypolishlady AT yahoo DOT com. Contact her with any dietary  
questions or concerns.

The cost for this day of learning is $10.00; this includes the all- 
day sideboard. Children between the ages of 5 and 17 pay $5.00;  
babies age 4 and under pay nothing. The family fee for the event is  
$25.00. A $3 surcharge applies to anyone without proof of membership
