Once again, the Shire of Stormsport invites all to attend the Feast of the Bears on February 27th.  There will be plenty of heavy fighting with a double elimination tourney running right into our traditional bear pit.  The Fighting will begin at noon.  We invite teachers to the classrooms and artisans to display their talents finished or in progress. 

The site is St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 9 Third Avenue, Union City, PA 16438, open from 9am to 9pm.  The site is wet, but no open flames, please.  Your autocrats for the day are Vlksha Iakovleva (Stacie Granger, 419 Stafford ave, Erie PA 16508, scavaleska at gmail.com, 814-455-2486) and Medb (Willow Hurlburt, 21 Perry St., Union City PA 16438, willowhurlburt at verizon.net, 814-438-3955).  Teachers and Merchants are welcome to contact the autocrats for space. 

A dayboard and fabulous feast is planned.  Our three time returning feastocrat is Ottilg du Rappoltsweiler (Tracie Whitney, 814-218-9865, traciewhitney at yahoo.com with FEAST in subject line please). Please contact her with any dietary or allergy concerns.  Feast is limited to 60 gentles, so please reserve early.

Site fees for the event are $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 are free.  This includes a sideboard lunch.  An additional $3.00 non-member surcharge will be collected at the door.  Feast fees are $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 5-12. DIRECTIONS:  From North:  Take your best route to I-90 West and take Exit 41 in North East, PA.  Turn left onto Route 89 South.  After about 13 miles, PA-89 S joins with Route 8.  Continue following Route 8 for another 8 miles into Union City.  At the first traffic light, turn right onto West High Street.  Follow this for two blocks, then turn right onto 2nd Ave.  After one block, turn left.

>From the South & West:  Take your best route to I-79 North and take Exit 166 for Edinboro, PA.  Turn right onto US Route 6N, which becomes US Route 6.  Follow this until it intersects with PA Route 8 (approximately 19 miles).  Turn left onto PA-8.  Go through two stop lights, and at the third light turn left onto West High Street.  Follow this for two blocks, then turn right onto 2nd Ave.  After one block, turn left.

>From the East:  Take your best route to Route 6 and go west.  Follow until you reach the intersection with Route 8 in Union City.  Go straight though the stop light, onto West High Street.  Follow this for two blocks, then turn right onto 2nd Ave.  After one block, turn left.
