Greetings!

I was wondering if anyone had stencils or something similar that could be used to paint badges on award medallions?  My level of "skill" when painting isn't very high, so I could use the help.  I thought I heard a couple of people say they used templates or stencils?

If anyone could make me one (or more, since we have several different badges), that would be wonderful.

I would welcome suggestions from those of you who have made award medallions in the past.  I have a box of disks that have the base (background color) painted, but I need to figure out the best method for painting the badge.

I think someone mentioned using a leather punch to make keystones and sycamores?   I would be interesting in knowing how that is done, as well.

I have the emboridery patterns for making award medallions and I've seen I think it's called a "whip stitch" to attached it to a leather or cloth circle, but I was wondering what other methods do people use to finish embroidered medallions?

I guess I'm interested in however people are making award medallions.  I know it's nice, when possible to try and match up a "style" to someone's persona.. so I try to make certain we have a variety of styles, whenever possible.  I would welcome any ideas or suggestions, especially if anyone has a link to pictures or a how-to guide.

Thanks,

Tessa, Princess
