Alicia-
If the stuff has a cloth or paper backing, it might be bookcloth. Margaret's offerered to bring a few yards back for me, assuming someone hasn't loaded the whole lot into a truck before she gets there...
Thanks,
-Aidan

Greetings unto thrifty citizens of AEthelmearc!

A teacher in my building is retiring at the end of this school year and
is cleaning out his cupboards.

Apparently, many years ago, he taught a unit on bookmaking, and from
this he had a number of rolls of leather-like ... stuff that they used
to line the inside covers of the books. Thinking I might be able to use
them, he gave them to me.

Right now the rolls are cluttering up my classroom, and I'd like to find
a home for them. (I couldn't bear the thought of just throwing them
away ....)

There are close to 20 rolls in various colors (tan, ivory, green,
burgundy, blue ...) in varying amounts. The material itself feels like
it's made of some type of plastic.

If you're interested in acquiring some (or all!) of these rolls, please
contact me privately. (First-come, first-served.)

Yours,
Alicia
