[SCA-AE] Not replying does not mean not active....

I know that this is going to sound assinine, and I apologize in advance. 

Of late, not just on this list, but on numerous lists that I belong to, it seems that there are persons who feel that the only way to have an issue heard is to post a reply about a question, rather than let the person in charge of a specific discipline/activity/group address the concern. 

While I can certainly understand the desire to be heard, wouldn't our organization be better served by letting those who are directly involved in the process handle said process? 

 
In a correlative comment, shouldn't private "dirt" be kept private? 
This example is contrived and in no way reflects reality: 
If Lady So-and-so says that Lord GonnaGetIt notified her that he has tennis elbow, shouldn't that be between them, and not for public consumption? 

Just my 2 cents. feel free to delete this, or send me a PRIVATE reply if you wish to. 
Please do not start a flame war on this. My intent is to remind people that some of us believe that we should live Chivlaric lives.
