The first Blackstone raid I ran was over Easter Weekend.
It was also the first one that was more than just a weekend event.
Although there were some local grumblings, attendance went up over 20%
Most people have Good Friday off and the long weekend was very attractive.
We also pulled large numbers from the East, Atlantia, and Ealdomere because we did not conflict with any Coronations or Crown Tourneys and, as the case with much of New England and Canada, Easter Monday was also a Holiday allowing for an extra day of travel for those who travel long distances.
I suspect you will see that for every 10 people who don't come to BSR due to Easter we will gain 12 who come because of the extended weekend.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
