No it's not just you.
I am merely ten years in and am currently empting my Fathers house and have
every issue of the complete achronist, Æstel, and Ice Dragon published since
my first day. And the there is the habit of saving EVERY site favor from
every single event I have attended as well.
And most of the SCAdians I know WELL, pretty much the same deal. So you are
not alone...perhaps we could start a support group for SCAdians like us?

Subject: [SCA-AE] SCA Pack Rats

Having moved ALMOST all of the stuff from my mother's house to my own (I
admit, there are still boxes of books in her attic), quite a lot of my house

now looks like a warehouse/landfill. For example, I used to be able to eat
on my dining room table, or my kitchen table, and I used to be able to park
both my car and my truck in the garage.
Today, I am trying to sort out enough that there is more than a pathway
through some rooms.
Does anyone else keep such things as 1988 Board MInutes (July) still in the
mailing envelope? It is bad enough that I had to open several mailing
envelopes to see what issues of ElfQuest comics I have (several years
worth!), but I keep finding things like Board minutes, Concordia of the
Snows minutes and newsletters, and I have a file drawer of old Pennsic
booklets, including a very early one that is no more than a pamphlet. I
have a huge collection of old EK Pikestaffs! I very carefully filed them by

date, too.
I am trying VERY hard to throw such things out (25 years in the SCA worth!),

but honestly, is it just me?
THL Rowena, in Coppertree
