My original thought was to respond to you privately, but then I thought that it would suit the situation better for me to voice my thoughts publicly. 



I just want you to know that it's okay. The incident, in my humble opinion and that of my mother, who was there just as my guest, was completely overshadowed by the excellent job you did with the tea ceremony. It  was a rare experience, and both my mother and I were very impressed by you and your helpers. You have a wealth of knowledge that regularly astounds, and inspires me. In my eyes, you are an extrodinary person, and there should be no injury in reputation to either the Clan nor the Barony of Delfwood. 



I just hope that all is well, and you will continue to share your knowledge with us as a society of friends.

Noble Cousins! 

Greetings from Solveig! Many of you know that I eventually melted   
down at MiNoHi. What went on is various and complicated. However, I   
will not offer any excuse. I fear that I have gravely injured the   
reputation of the Clan and also the Barony of Delftwood. I do most   
earnestly hope that each of you will find it in your hearts to   
forgive me.
