Subject: [SCA-AE] New Sylvan Bard


The new Sylvan Bard of Aethelmearc was named Saturday.  He is Count
Jehan de la Marche, a very fine, funny, & most wonderously intelligent
& well-read man.

My congratulations to him & to the other contestants, Baroness
Gwendolyn the Graceful and Baroness Clarice de Roan.

Also my thanks to the Crown of Aethelmearc for letting me have this
amazing experience and to all who made it successful, including the
many who came to Aethelmearc's Royal camp at Pennsic & took part in
the Bardic evenings there.  I hope we'll have the opportunity again
this coming year.
