[SCA-AE] Slightly OT: Phone trouble

Greetings, all:

We recently became aware that there is a slight problem with our home phone.? Apparently if no one answers after about 6 rings the line just goes dead without our answering machine picking up.? I suspect that this is related to changing service providers when we moved.?I suspect that we have some fancy voice mail now that no one ever told us about!? I'm checking into it and hope to have it fixed soon.

Best time to call if you want to take the chance that we're home is in the evening between 6:30 and 8 or after 9:30 up to about 11.?
