I met a gentleman at The Siege of Glengarry that was from Russia.
He was a nice gentleman with beautiful daughters.
I bet there would be someone outthere to act as an interpreter.

    Wouldn't it be interesting to have one of these folks as a  
'pen-pal'! Pity my language skills are so limited. :(

    I believe most Europeans nowadays speak/write at least a limited  
amount of English, but I have never heard of Russian or any Slavic  
language being offered to schoolchildren here - except (perhaps) in  
college!
