Melee on the Mount
 
The call goes out from the Mount for those who feel they are strong  enough  
to be Warlords and lead troops into the frenzy of the Melee and  those that 
would  follow their leader into battle,  to present  themselves on Saturday, 
May  
31, 2008 at the North Strabane Township  Park, Quail Acres Pavilion, 1929 
Route  
519 South, Canonsburg, PA  15317.

Sponsored by the Shire of Kings Crossing, the site opens at 10 AM  and  
closes 
at 8 PM and will feature a heavy weapons Warlord  Tournament, Fencing,  
Archery and Thrown weapons.  There will also  be an A&S display  where you 
may view 
and show the many talents of  our  Sylvan Kingdom of  AEthelmearc.

The site is discretely  damp and an all day side-board is available to all  
attendees.   Master Creador Twyne Dragon is preparing a sumptuous day long  
feast 
of  skewered beef, honey and spicy chicken, salad assortment, a selection  of 
 
fruits, bread and spreads as well as some surprises,  plus  cheeses  and 
deserts.
There are no planned children's activities but  there are plenty of play  
areas.  Parents are responsible for  their children since we have no  
children's 
activity  coordinator.

Site fees for the event are $12.00 for adults, $6.00 for  children ages 5-12  
and children under 5 are free.  This includes  the all day side-board.   An 
additional $3.00 non-member surcharge  will be collected at the door.

DIRECTIONS:  From the North:  take I-79 South to the Houston  exit (43) and 
turn right onto Rt. 519 South to  the stop at the top of  the hill.  Continue 
right on 519 S for 0.7 miles to  the North  Strabane Township Municipal 
Building, 
1929 Route 519 South, and make a   left on Township Rd.  Up the hill to the 
Quail Acres Pavilion   (large).  From the South, East and West: Take I-79  
North 
to the  Houston Exit (43) and follow the above directions.
