[SCA-AE] Call for Commentary from Grand Council: Topic # 1

I bring you greetings from Grand Council.  For this quarter, the Board  
has requested commentary on the following issue;

Quoted from the posting by our chairman:

 >Please consider the demographics of the SCA, who are we, where are we
 >headed. How are things changing? Do they differ across Kingdoms?
 >What are our historical demographics, and how is that different than  
our current demographics?
 >I would also consider the subject of why demographic change has  
happened to be on Topic for this one.
 >An example of what they are looking for as I read it is things like  
how changes in culture and regulations affect who participates.
