For those wishing more details:

- There were 19 entrants.

- From the quarter finals onward, there were no shields allowed. The result
was a mix of polearm fights, and two sword fights (with one gentle who came
out with just one great sword).

- The semi finals were Count Christopher (from the winner's list) defeating
Sir Michael of Northwood and THL Magnus Tindal defeating Count Duncan von
Halstern.

- The Ladies of the Rose and Garnet (with the permission of TRM) asked Lord
Olafr Thorvardharson to hold the shield of chivalry even though a survey of
said ladies proved that none can really pronounce "Thorvardharson".
(Fortunately, the Silver Buccle Herald can).

- The ladies (and others) also noted that this tourney was generally marked
with both a high level of courteous behavior as well skill, but the constant
chivalry as well as infectious joy of Olafr made him the one to choose over
many other fine fighters.

- The most popular fashion accessory for those presented to TRM to fight in
this tourney was a "baby/toddler". All four of the semi-finalists possess
such a thing, although Sir Michael did not bring his to the field, and Count
Duncan and Countess Ilish brought two. This is in no way a suggestion that
everyone pick one up for the next tourney. I would also commend Sir
Koredono for carrying the child of his consort, but would suggest that next
time someone says she is cute, he should come up with a reply other than
"well, you can have her, she isn't mine".

Thank you to all who attended.

Dorinda
