Greetings unto the Noble Populace of Æthelmearc from Khalek and Branwyn,
Noyan and Noyiqan of Æthelmearc,
 
The time is approaching when the succession of our fair kingdom must be
decided through the great deed of arms known as Crown Tourney! 

The decision will be made in a double elimination tournament held on May
3rd in the Shire of Herontir, which will have 3 challenges. During the
first part of the tournament, challengers will fight with their best
form to proceed to the quarter finals. For the quarter and semi finals,
the remaining challengers will compete with their best form without
shields. The final challengers will fight the best of five bouts, with
weapons forms changing for each bout. 

Letters of intent to compete in this tourney must be sent to us,
postmarked no later than 30 days prior to the tournament. (That would be
April 3rd.) Each couple must provide proof of membership and a copy of
their ID, having been a subject of Æthelmearc for no less than 1 year,
and be acceptable to the Crown of Æthelmearc.

We look forward to many entrants to the tournament, and to a glorious
day for all who attend.
