Yes, agreed. They lost an contrast opportunity there... though I could see where a gable headdress could cause difficulties shooting. As the view moves toward profile, it could be *anybody* under the hat. ;-)

But every picture you see of Katherine of Aragon shows her wearing one.
It's one of those little details that stands out when you contrast the
older, more conventional, foreign style of the first wife (Katherine) with
the freer younger more English style of the new trophy wife (Anne).
