The Olcott Pirate Festival is not an SCA event nor has it ever been one nor 
are there any plans to make it one. It is a public festival in which many 
SCAdians often participate in what has become effectively a very large demo. 
Since it is not an SCA event, the SCA has absolutely no control whatsoever 
regarding its scheduling. That control lies with the organizers and not us.
