Hilda Asked:

OK, I have a question about the older minors out there:

Say I'm teaching a class or running a range of some sort, and the first
person who walks up appears youngish, but maybe isn't, could be anywhere
from 15 to 20 years old, but I'm terrible at guessing ages. No other
adult is around.
1. Will I be expected to ask this person's age?
2. If I thought this person was over 18, but really wasn't, and I didn't
ask him/her, would I be held accountable/reprimanded?

Answer: If you are not sure, it is probably best to ask.

Also asked:

Also, regarding the checks themselves:
1. Will a list of background-checked people be made available to the
local groups, or should we start to make our own list?
2. Once the background check expires, will you notify people, or should
we be keeping track ourselves? (This one may have been answered
somewhere, but I couldn't find the answer, sorry).

Answer: The people who are youth officers will have background checks.
I haven't quite figured out how we are going to make those lists
available, but local seneschals will have them.

The checks are good for two years. There will be warranting that goes
along with that. When your check expires, their warrant will expire.
You will get notified.
