Your Excellency,
I am going to show my ignorance here, I am sure. But, maybe others have the same questions in mind. :)
What is the "Two Deep Rule"?
What is a youth? Under 18? Under 16?
I did not see you mention Thrown Weapons along with the other Martial Activities in your previous post.
Even though I have never thought of Thrown Weapons as a Youth Activity, Youths are not barred from participating.
I personally require a Parent to be present and involved in order for a person under 18 to participate on a range I am marshalling.
Does this mean myself and any Marshall operating a range needs a Background check?
Does the Two Deep rule mean we need two marshals if a Youth is participating?
Up to now it has been our personal choice, as the Marshal in Charge, as to whether or not we allow Youths to participate on a Thrown Weapons range. If we personally, choose not to allow Youths on our range while we are Marshalling does that avoid the requirement of a Background Check?
I think that covers my thoughts on the subject. :)
Thanks for all your effort, and your patience with all of us,
In Service to the Dream,
Timothy of Edgewood
