  Fleetly o’er the steppe come the strong winds of change, heralding
  our new King and Queen, Khalek and Branwyn.  Call goes forth for the
  horsemen to gather in celebration of Their Coronation.  The Canton
  of Beau Fleuve welcomes all to Camp Kenan, on the shores of
  beautiful Lake Ontario on April 12, 2008, located at 8571 Lower Lake
  Road , Barker, NY 14012

  Our Autocrat, Irene von Schmetterling, mka Wendy Colbert 1405 Maple

  has arranged a day full of the wonders straight from the High Plains
  of the Mongol Warriors.  Activities will include a demonstration of
  the Art of the Horse (marshaled by Sir Alexander, contact Mistress
  Irene for pre-reg information), a Mongol Arts display in honor of
  Their New Majesties, a kite flying competition, a Turkish Coffee
  House and Henna emporium, fishing (please check with reservations
  clerk and on-line for information on required NYS licenses), and a
  sumptuous side board lunch for all as well as the Last Court of our
  beloved Duncan and Ilish, and Coronation and First Court of Khalek
  and Branwyn.

  In addition to the Coronation celebration, we are also pleased to
  host the Aethelmearc Fencing Championships.  These will be run by
  the Sir Koredono koredono at gmail.com More information will be posted
  on line.

  The festivities continue into the evening with Mongol feast,
  featuring lamb and duck, from our own Chef Avarga Chagadaai, mka
  Keith Mondschein avarga.chagadaai at gmail.com , followed by a
  gathering of story-tellers around our indoor fireplace in the main
  hall.  Festivities begin at 9am and end at 10pm.  More activities
  will be announced on-line as they are confirmed.

  The day fee for this glorious festival is $ 13.00 off/outboard.
  $6.50 for children 5-17, children 4 and under free.

  On-board is $22.00 for adults, $15.50 for 12-17 year olds, $11.00
  for 5-11 year olds, children 4 and under free.

  Our site is a YMCA camp and has some very specific site rules they
  have asked us to abide by, including: no alcohol, no swimming,
  enclosed flames only in the feast hall, no parking or driving on
  grass, no pets - exception made for equestrian activities.  It is
  also directly ON THE LAKE, so please be prepared for variable
  weather, including wind.  In case of inclement weather, the
  Equestrian demonstrations will be moved to an in-door arena a short
  distance from the main site.

  There are accommodations available near the site for folks wishing
  to stay overnight.  Information will be available on-line and from
  the reservations clerk.
   
DIRECTIONS:

  From Thescorre and the East: I-90 West to the Pembroke Exit.  Left
  off exit to Route 77 North.  Take 77 North to 63 North.  Left onto
  18 West.  Right at the flashing light on Quaker Road .  Left on
  Lower Lake Road .  Camp Kenan is on the right.

  From Niagara Falls and North: Take the Robert Moses parkway to the
  end.  Go left on Route 18 East.  Stay on 18 East until Lower Lake
  Road .  Left on Lower lake Road.  Camp Kenan is on the Right.

  From Lockport , Bufalo and South: Take your best route to 78 North
  in Lockport.  Go right on 31 East, Left on Gasport Road.  Take
  Gasport Road straight to Camp Kenan.  The Camp will be on the left.
