I've been out of touch for a month, so this is a reply to an old thread.  

I have three grown children.  They have given me eleven grandchildren.  Those have continued the tradition by creating eight great-grandchildren.

I don't know how this applies to what we do with the kids, but anyone who has had been around them knows that they are all individuals and have different needs and interests.
