  Yes, I will host another overview of spices in the Age of Exploration at the College of Three Ravens, which includes the opportunity to smell and taste various spices used in our period of study.
   
  Brewers, cooks -- have you always wanted to know what cubebs or grains of paradise taste like? Ever wondered what the heck long pepper looks like? Want to smell really virile Vietnamese cinnamon? Come hear me datadump and find out... ;)
   
  Yes, this will include a sampling of the just-post-period historic drinking chocolates from Italy and Spain. I will have access to electrical outlets this time (yay!!), so I can actually serve them hot. Heat, who'd a thunk it?
