Greetings unto the Populace of AEthelmearc,
As our Knowne World grows ever smaller with Internet and world travel, I
thought I'd send along this gracious offer of welcome and assistance from
the Chatelaine of Thamesreach (London). The following message has been
posted to all Kingdoms throughout the U.S. and offers opportunities to those
students who may be visiting London this school year.
Lady Rowan L'Crotha

Subject: SCAdians on their Travels?
Greetings from Thamesreach, Insulae Draconis!
I am writing to you as Chatelein de Thamesreach and would like to beg a boon
of your office.
We have an active Shire here in the London area and are aware of the high
numbers of students who come here on a Junior Year Abroad or summar study
trip. We are also aware that talking with one or two of them who have found
us, that they were surprised to find the SCA alive and well in distant
lands.
It is nearly the start of a new academic year here, and I would like to ask
if you could contact the Chateleins and Seneschals to ask if they know of
any members or their offspring who are JYA this year please? We would look
forward to welcoming any who visit our shores, and put anyone going
elsewhere in Drachenald in touch locally.
I am readily available on this email address and look forward to meeting any
of your compatriots who travel to or through our fair Shire.
Yours in Service
Guy de Dinan
