Hi Renata,


Good luck to you!  I understand it can be hard, but there are many many 
successful persona changes. One thing to realize is that the organization 
players change over time -- new(er) people will only know you as your new 
persona, so that will help. While I haven't changed personas, I went 
through a period where I was trying on names -- the best help I found once 
I found a permanant name was having one or two people who made a point of 
calling me by my new name (in my case, these lovely people were being kind 
to me without my asking, but if you can recruit a few, that's a good 
thing!) It also doesn't hurt to politely point out to people that "I'm 
trying to change persona, and my name is now 'sOCIqOXIDT' (or whatever your 
choose), it would really help me to do this if you could call me that". Or 
better yet, walk up to your old friends at any event, stick our your hand 
(or bow, curtsey) and say "Let me introduce myself, I'm "Wxovdiursjt"!"
