[SCA-AE] last plea

Good Erzebet,

    This has often been my experience when I have chirurgeoned at 
Aethelmearc War Practice as well.  Not always, but often.  It certainly can 
be disheartening.  I hope the good populace who come to these large events 
realize that although the events have grown to a sizable magnitude, they are 
not at Pennsic, where there is a strong system already set up, but are at 
events being put on by a local group, with local resources.   These local 
groups do a pretty darn good job, but can use whatever volunteers  can spare 
the time.
