[SCA-AE] Heavy Weapons Champion Tourney

Greetings to the populous of Aethelmearc.

 


    The time is near for their Majesties to choose a new champion 
for heavy weapons combat. Their Majesties have decided to choose 
their champion by tournament to be held in their shire of Herontir 
during the Harvest Raids. The tournament will be a double 
elimination style.

    Their Majesties wish this to be a grand tournament, celebrating 
Aethelmearc. Please display your personal heraldry proudly. Also 
they are calling for heralds to attend, so they may shine in their 
art and that they may help to increase the pageantry of the day. 

     Every combatant who enters the list does so with the 
understanding that they compete for the kingdom championship, and 
will assume the responsibility of that position should they prove 
victorious. 

    Fighters will also now be made aware. 

Any fighter who has actively fought against the Kingdom of 
Aethelmearc at this past Pennsic War, His Majesty takes these 
actions very seriously. Therefore such individuals will be 
considered ineligible for this tournament. If anyone wishes to speak 
to His Majesty on this to explain their actions, do so before the 
tournament starts.
