The feast menu for Hallowtide III is as follows:

First Remove:
Cucumber salad
Bread with butter, apple butter & mustard

Second Remove:
Cooked Carrots
A Roast of Beef

Third Remove:
New peas for a meat day
Makerouns  (medieval mac & cheese)
Doucettes  (pork pies)

Fourth Remove:
Poached Pears

Hallowtide III

Greetings unto the populace of Aethelmearc. The Shire
of Blackwater once again invites you to find time to
come celebrate with us our Hallowtide on November 3rd
2007 A.S. XLII. As the harvest is in and the domestic
animals safely brought in it is time to celebrate and
observe the change of seasons. We?ve had good luck in
the past events and we?ve been blessed with good
weather and good friends coming to celebrate with us.
Come and help us continue that tradition. We will have
our traditional activities for the adults and the
children. Including but not limited to Fencing, Heavy
Weapons, Youth Combat, Games, a few classes and our
traditional Pumpkin carving. Prizes for various
categories of carving to be awarded.

There will be a delicious feast presented by Lady
Aleyd von Kiel (Cheryl Ronolder). Please contact her

at 716-372-3713 (no calls after 9pm please) Menu to
follow!

This will be held at Trinity United Methodist church
at 131 North 9th Street in Olean, NY 14760. The site
will open at 9 am and will close at 9 pm. 

Event fee will be $8 per adult of 18 years of age.
Those from 6 to 17 will be charged $4 and those 5 and
under will be free. The $3 non member surcharge will
be collected at Troll as well so please remember to
bring acceptable proof of membership. Cost of the
feast will be $8, from 10 years old and up, under 10
eats for free.

Allegany, NY 14706 Paid reservations are the best as
we can not recognize unpaid requests. Please make your
payment payable to: SCA Inc. Shire of Blackwater.

The Autocrats for this event are Lord Valentin Lyme
(W. Chas Ronolder) and Lord Nugg (Russell

Directions:  With all the construction on I86 the
directions depending on where you are coming from will
be somewhat convoluted and for that I apologize. We
will do our best to provide adequate signage as well.
PLEASE NOTE NEW DIRECTIONS!

NEW DIRECTIONS
>From the East: Take your best route to I86 west
bound.
Take Exit #25 (Buffalo Street) and turn leftt at the
bottom of the ramp. Take Buffalo Street to the second
light and turn right onto North 12th street. Stay on
North 12th thru three blocks and to the second stop
sign at Washington street. Turn left and go to North
9th and turn right. Trinity United Methodist is on the
right hand side of the street and parking is in a
small lot and on the street.

OLD DIRECTIONS
>From the East  Take your best route to I86 eastbound.
Take Exit #26 to Rt 16. Turn right at the bottom of
the ramp onto Rt 16 south. Take this thru 7 stop
lights to Rt 417 west also known as West State Street
and take a right onto West State. You will now travel
thru 2 more stop lights at 4th street and 7th street.
North 9th street will be a right hand turn after that.
Trinity United Methodist is on the left hand side of
the street and parking is in a small lot and on the
street.

>From the West: Take your best route to I86 west
bound.
Take Exit #25 (Buffalo Street) and turn right at the

light and turn right onto North 12th street. Stay on

>From the North: Coming down Rt 16 follow directions
from the East where they get off I86 onto Rt 16.
Coming down Rt 219 follow directions from the West and
get on I86. Coming down I390 follow directions from
the west once you are on I86.

>From the South: Make your best way to Olean thru PA.
If coming up Rt 219 follow direction from the West.
Any other route should have you finding Rt 16 (North
or South) or Rt 417 (East or West) which intersect in
the center of Olean.
