[SCA-AE] Copyright and scrolls

My opinion, for what its worth, is that it is a great compliment to me
if anyone thinks so highly of my work that they would wish to
reproduce it. Like many others have expressed in this thread, I
simply enjoy giving...and giving something as a token of an
achievement, as in award scrolls, is my way of offering
congratulations to the receiving party. All in all, the scroll is not
about the scribe, it is about the recipient.

In past years, there have been classes offered at Pennsic about
copyright laws and the SCA scribe. I do not know who teaches this
class, but my understanding is that they have a modern background in
copyright law. Although I believe that Mistress Phiala has answered
many of the questions posted in this thread, any one interested may
want to check out the class at War this year...

My Two Cents Worth,
Renata the posh rot
