Are you sure it was a mongolian horse bow? it looks too long, however it 
does bear a more than passing resemblance from the 20 some-odd minutes I 
watched to the turkish composite (horn, sinew, wood) recurve bows that 
were analised in a "Scientific American" magazine article I have kicking 
around here from about 10 years ago.
