Hello all,
some friends and I are tossing about the idea of hosting a "Generations"
tourney at Pennsic. Our idea is to invite two-person teams of real-life 2
generation families. I.E. father/mother with son/daughter, aunt/uncle with
niece/nephew, ect. We are beginning to see more and more 2nd generation of sca
folk advance into the soceity as adults and we are wondering if this is true
everywhere or just in "older" pockets of the Society?

Anyway - my post is in the nature of an interest survey to determine just
how much interest there would be in such a tourney? So if there are any
potential pairs out there, could you reply to me off list? (We don't want to fill
up bandwith with "I'll be there's"! 0 We have not yet decided to do this
and are trying to make the decision after we get a grip on how many potential
teams there might be.
Thank you for your assistance.

Weep dogs, if you have time to weep, weep dogs; the pup Pitulus is dead. Who
was Pitulus? The chief concern and grief of his master. What was his
function: That this lrrge master should love small dog - that was his duty, to play
before his master. What was the use of that? There was none - if not
laughter. Whoever saw you, whoever knew you - loved you and grieves now over your
demise. - Thierry of Thrond--c12th Century
