[SCA-AE] Pennsic Advice?

The Great Pennsic War is WAR.
It's August, it's hot, it's muddy, it's one or two
weeks of camping.
If you have fine linens that you wish to not be
stained, don't bring them to PENNSIC.
There are times, places, and events for SPIFF.
I have not found PENNSIC to be the event for SPIFF.
I applaud those who bring the finery to WAR, but I
also don't expect said-finery to return home in half
the spiffiness it arrived two weeks earlier.
